Welcome to The Boathouse Surgery, Pangbourne
Welcome to our practice website. Here you can find details of services available at the practice as well as our latest news and links to useful websites. You can also book appointments and order repeat prescriptions.
Sadly we have to inform you that Dr Steve Rogers and Dr Catherine Kelly are leaving the practice to return to Tasmania in the New Year. This has been a very difficult decision for them as they have had many happy years in Pangbourne. We are all very sad to see them go and we wish them well in their new life in Australia.
The practice is open 8.00 am - 6.30 pm Monday to Friday and we have a limited service on one saturday a month. Routine appointments are available during the hours listed below. We also offer extended hours appointments from 7am wednesdays and from 7.30am on some other mornings for those unable to attend at other times. We run a personal list system so ask that you see the doctor you are registered with unless they are away.
|Monday to Thursday||8.30am to 11am||4pm to 6pm|
|Friday||8.30am to 11am||Access only|
Please note, the practice is closed from 12noon to 4pm on the following afternoons to allow for staff training. Westcall telephone cover is provided at these times:
15th May 2013, 18th July 2013, 21st November 2013, 22nd January 2014 and 20th March 2014.
We run an access surgery every day at 3pm for urgent problems that cannot wait a few days to be seen. This is bookable on the day only by telephone and is not a walk in clinic.
You can always see a doctor within 48hours if you need to and you can always book further ahead to see your own doctor. If you feel you are not able to do this please discuss this with the receptionist, our practice manager or one of the doctors.
Outside Surgery Hours
For urgent medical problems outside our normal surgery hours, your calls will be diverted to the NHS 111 service.
